Opened the hood to do an oil change and noticed that a few wires have been chewed on. I drive this thing every day, so kind-of surprised. The wires are not chewed through, so I taped them up and everything is fine, but I wanted to replace them soon. I figured that would just figure out the connector part number, get one and the splice the wires to make them solid again. (I think the place that they are chewed is too close to the connector to save it)

thoughts?

Also, if anyone knows that that part number would be or what that cable is for, that would be super helpful.

Moth balls or there're some other natural sprays out there that some feel help. If this keeps happening I'd suggest getting some of Honda rodent tape on the affected areas. The wire insulation has soy oil in the insulation which is what's inviting the bite.
