Just got my hardtop replaced under warranty for "material defect". What to look for.

Hmm, if I wait a year to bring this problem to the dealership will I be able to get a mod top as a replacement?

Mine took about a month from start to finish to get replaced. 10 days for Ford to approve. A week to ship the top. 1 more week to get into the body shop. Then they kept my Bronco for 7 days to put on the new top and glue in the windows.
My replacement top cracked 3 weeks after install. I got that one fixed fast. It only took as long as driving to the toyota dealership.
