I've been working on my Bronco since 2021 slowly upgrading it, and it's been an absolute blast! The Bronco6G forum has been a fantastic resource for ideas so thank you. I've gone on multiple off-roading/camping trips, from Big Bend to the Grand Canyon to Colorado. With hopefully more to come since I try to do at least 2-3 camping/off road trips a year. The truck has held up extremely well with very few things to complain about.

It's night and day.... honestly the hideaway kicker made the biggest difference. The only thing I didn't do is buy a kicker key amp to put behind the glove box. I might do that down the road.

It is! Honestly, was a great upgrade anything to do with more storage in the front was worth it to me since there is so little of it. I also added the front door M2M Door Molle.

I personally hope that for the 2025 Bronco refresh they get rid of the giant dated gear shifter and move towards a dial or buttons like most new vehicles to provide more storage.

I really like it a lot because I was able to buy the accessory bracket with it for not too much more. It’s why I went with them vs others.

My only suggestion is when you’re installing it might want to do it with two people. Sort of a pain to get the tailgate screws aligned while holding it yourself. Be super careful when installing cause you can misalign your tailgate when you unscrew it. Why you need cardboard to prop it up. This is really for any install though.

How does the Rhino shovel compare to a US army encampment tool? I have the latter and it is built to withstand a nuclear blast. Have not had to use it yet except for digging fire pits.

A CB radio !! Wow, very cool. Bronco looks great.

Probably GMRS. Hardly anyone other than truckers does CB. I have a cheapie Baofeng in my Bronco, bought it mostly for the very rare group trip from the local club that I attend. Yet to find any real use for it beyond that, glad that I did not spring for anything more expensive.
