Nice! I'm surprised they look that much taller than the 285/75r17's.

When you go to 35's one thing you may need to do if you don't upgrade the wheels and stick with the stock wheels is remove the crash bars and add a 1 1/2" spacer when you get the 35's on there. Stock is a +55 offset and Sas is a +30 Offset. When we put 35's on our non Sas Badlands we needed to add the spacer for the stock wheels.

All depends on the tire size. In my mind the steelies are made for more narrow tires. 35X11.50s fit fine without wheel spacers.

looks awesome! I’m going to need to start looking for SAS take off stuff! How much lift does the SAS give over non-SAS on the BD? I need a little more clearance and debating options. I want to get 35”s also, glad to see what the Steelies look like with them.

What’s a good 35x11.50 in your opinion? I’m looking to remove the stock wheels and tires from my Big Bend Sasquatch and go with stock Black Diamond steelies or the stock Big Bend wheels and put on tall skinny tires. Don’t want spacers if possible.

I’m somewhat biased, as I’ve had several sets of Toyo ATIIIs and find them about perfect for my uses. I do several 3500 mile trips each year on the interstate and lots of off-roading in between. They fit my uses perfectly. Not great in mud, but really good in everything else. I currently have 35X11.50s on my steelies. Have about 20K miles on them. Plan to go to 37X11.50s next spring and wish Toyo made that size.

This was taken yesterday as I was airing down:

I’ve heard great things about the toyos, I really appreciate your insight.

You didn’t need any spacers it sounds like so I think I’ll go the same route and grab a set of Toyo 35x11.50s.

Thanks again!

Hi guys,

I just wanted to share my experience with fake squatching my Black Diamond for those who are interested.

I did not order the SAS package for financial reasons 2 years ago when I first ordered the car, but slowly I was able to customize it to my liking.

Parts installed:

Used SAS takeoff shocks and springs: $400
Suspension installation: $650
New SAS fender flares: $250
New SAS bumper end caps: $80
1.25" Bora Wheel Spacers: $290
Total: $1670

35s are going on when I reach 30K miles on my Yokohama Geolandars in 285/75/17 in a few months.

Here are some pictures of my current setup:

I also completed the "double Stuf Oreo" look on my car by wrapping the A-pillars in satin black.

That's all for now.

Thanks to a bunch of 6G members for helping me with my setup.
Are you getting rid of the base flares?
