Hi guys,

I just wanted to share my experience with fake squatching my Black Diamond for those who are interested.

I did not order the SAS package for financial reasons 2 years ago when I first ordered the car, but slowly I was able to customize it to my liking.

Parts installed:

Used SAS takeoff shocks and springs: $400
Suspension installation: $650
New SAS fender flares: $250
New SAS bumper end caps: $80
1.25" Bora Wheel Spacers: $290
Total: $1670

35s are going on when I reach 30K miles on my Yokohama Geolandars in 285/75/17 in a few months.

Here are some pictures of my current setup:

I also completed the "double Stuf Oreo" look on my car by wrapping the A-pillars in satin black.

That's all for now.

Thanks to a bunch of 6G members for helping me with my setup.

I say get new wheels and 35s and go back and forth depending on your mood. Looks good though!!

Ain’t nothing to be ashamed of going old school and doing that work yourself

Ron Swanson approves 🤞

I thought about that. But I really like the steelies. I might even get another set since they are so cheap.

I don't have any suspension spacers on there. I have wheel spacers on.

I too have a BD and I am completing the diy sas also. Here is my list and my question for you:
  • sas tire and wheel take off $2000 +$200 instal
  • sas fender flares $450
  • sas bilsteins shocks & springs take off $400
  • suspension instal tbd

question - how much lift did you get when you installed the sas shocks and springs?
