Starting with 1966 Bronco, our favorite vehicle was not called an SUV because that marketing term had not yet been conceived. The Bronco was and ever shall be considered a Light Truck.

The Escape/Bronco Sport is your SUV but your Bronco was built on the same assembly line as it's corporate cousin the Ranger Pickup Truck. The Ranger is not a Sport Utility Truck like the Maverick or Hyundai Santa Cruz

Guess what? My Subaru Outback is not an SUV, it's a Station Wagon. A Station Wagon with a great AWD system and ground clearance but a Station Wagon none the less.

I have called it my car... my truck... the bronco... the beast... but officially on the Ford app it is The Kelpie.
