It's normal. I have no idea what it actually is, and I've always wondered, but it's totally normal.

My F150 (which I call my "truck") has always made the same noises, as well our Bronco (which I do not call a "truck") and our old Explorer (which I generally referred to as a "car", but was as much of a "truck" as the Bronco)…

Per Wikipedia, a car is a wheeled motor vehicle that is used for transportation. Most definitions of cars say that they run primarily on roads, seat one to eight people, have four wheels, and mainly transport people instead of goods.

The Oxford Languages Google dictionary says that a car is “a four-wheeled road vehicle that is powered by an engine and is able to carry a small number of people.”
All trucks are cars, but not all cars are trucks.

I get it on my base. Strange. I thought it was a bad connection on the door chime at first. Ha. The printer starting up is a good call on the sound tho.
Hi there. This door noise concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Bronco. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.

My manual Badlands does the same thing. I was concerned at first, but after reading some threads, it seems that it’s normal. I’ve gotten used to it now.

I think it's the shutters in the front grill. They go through an open-close cycle.
