It will offer another layer and has the ability to deaden the sound since it is a soft surface. I can’t give you an answer as to how much it changes but the acoustics are better with the shade.

Mine is scheduled to come in tomorrow, so taking the top off today so I can install the velcro when it arrives to make sure it's cured and ready to go. If it's delivered early enough then maybe finish later in the evening, otherwise finish the install Saturday morning.



I suppose it goes underneath to aid in reduction of flapping (not that it needs it). I think I prefer this design as opposed to sitting on top of the Braptor Bar.

This is Mike from JTops. We decided to go under the BRaptor bar for stability and a bolder look. With the hart top on it’s a more seamless look from the inside.
It also made a difference in the wind noise when we tested it under the bar. When we tried it over the bar it whistled more and just did not look right.

I put mine on last week and haven’t even thought about putting the hardtop back…love the JTops on the BRaptor. To me any flapping isn’t noticed at highway speeds; a little bit below 40mph but not at all annoying.

All we need to do is match the Pantone Color data. We can easily look it up.

Any way this would work with a Raptor with a softtop? I am thinking about putting on a soft top and would like the JTop under it. Or would it be put on and take off with the soft top down?
