Ordered my Bronco Badlands on 26 March. I was told 6-8 weeks for delivery. It went into production on 20 May.

I was then given the delivery window of 10–16 June even though the vehicle window sticker has a Blend Date of 26 May. This window already put me at over 11 weeks.

On 16 June, after hounding the dealer, i was told the date got pushed to 31 July! Another 6 weeks! Vehicle has been built for 3.5 weeks already. Why am I waiting another 6 weeks (in theory – definitely don't trust this date either).

I am debating just cancelling my order at this point. Any guidance on this and if I should be seriously concerned about the integrity of the vehicle??

Yours isn't the only Bronco being built. It has to get in line with the rest of them. At least you have dates. I had to wait a year before I had any information. Funny thing about schedules, they get screwd up.

If I remember correctly, I was getting emails from Ford about dates, they did shift some.

I waited 18 months, including the delivery getting pushed 6 weeks after they said they'd started building it. There are various reasons it can be held or delayed (some part(s) need replacing, quality assurance programs, space aliens used it as a toilet). I dunno, I'd just wait to see. It won't be canceled either, they just won't hold it for you.

Thank you for your feedback. I understand what you are saying and your points are valid. Except I haven't gotten any updates. From anyone. Ford tracker hasn't been updated since 20 May. Any information I have is from having to absolutely hound them multiple times via phone, email and text. It has not been volunteered when expectations (set by THEM, mind you) have not been fulfilled.
So why give dates if they will not be met? Dates are meaningless if they aren't honored. It just sets expectations that won't be met -- not a great customer service tactic if you ask me.
I understand delays. I understand not having a set date. What I don't understand is giving time frames and dates, then failing to meet them with absolutely no explanation.
If there was communication, I would feel much better. But that's why I'm here trying to get feedback, as it is certainly not coming from the sources that should be giving it.
But, again, thank you for giving feedback from your experience; it is certainly appreciated.

They should be able to provide you the visibility report which would show it's most up to date status. Further they have the ability to view the page that would show info in an even easier to view format. If you want to share your VIN privately I can look into it

Don't take it personally, it happens to just about everyone in the process. This is the only vehicle I've ever ordered, so don't know how fog-laden the other domestic manufacturers are, but Ford operates like they're 140 years old. Like literally.

Here's what happened to me: I ordered Aug 2020. 2dr BL Sas in Cyber Orange. It was COVID, so everything was like molasses. I get my first build email and it's a 4dr BL Sas in CY! My salesman drops off the face of the planet. Won't return my phone calls, emails, nothing. I finally go in, someone's like, oh he's got COVID. Well, I have the wrong order, it should be a 2dr.

Ah hell, you're right, just take the 4dr! Uh nope, I want a 2dr. They put another order in. Lost at least six weeks. Three months later they asked if I wanted the 4dr (oh how handy it came in so fast...), no I don't. But it's here! Nope. They sold it two days later.

Couple months go by, my salesman won't return my calls. "Does he still have COVID?" "No, his wife had baby #8." "Eight?!?!" "Yeah, he's on paternity leave. What do you need?" "To check on my order!!"

They put me in touch with I think the sales manager, the keeper of the list. I go in, he shows me it's there, it seems to check out. He said 2drs were taking forever, they hadn't actually gotten one yet. I could change it to a 4dr and get it in a few months... Nope!

Another 10 months go by!! Finally in mid-November start getting update emails, scheduled in a couple weeks. Oops, mid December. Oops, the week of Christmas. Oops, everyone takes off for a month, nothing gets built around Christmas to New Years (I heard). But I get an email saying it was being built!

Didn't get another email until a week and a half after it was delivered the first week of February. "It's built, it'll be there a week and a half ago!!" 🤦‍♂️ My salesman calls me at 8:15am on the Saturday it's rolling off the truck, "It's here!!" I'm now dying of COVID. Really, third time, I thought I might die. Picked it up that Monday not knowing how sick I still was, the rest is history.

So yeah, the process can suck but be patient, they haven't lost your order based on what you're saying, and it's Keystone Kops trying to figure anything out. Just hope you don't get a Heritage front fender on one side, which happens, but rarely. Good luck!

Production delays happen and blend date doesn't necessarily mean anything other than "this vehicle is now ready to start final assembly". Even after assembly, there is a lot of work to do, including QA/QC, drive tests, and tons of other shit.

You aren't anywhere near where it would be reasonable to consider cancelling the order. I was told 5-8 weeks on my order, and it actually took 13-14 to finally arrive at my dealer and went weeks and weeks with no update on the Ford tracker.

As to the "integrity of the vehicle" it makes no sense to worry about that because of a production schedule change.
