It’s tough for me to say since I’ve never had a set of AT tires before. There is definitely some noise but I had set my expectations really low so I’ve been satisfied. I just assumed all these tires have noise. Also never had a vehicle like this before so to me the whole thing sounds pretty loud at 75 on they highway. I wanted Toyo’s but they were back ordered back in January and Discount Tire gave me the Ridge Grapplers for the same price. What I’m not happy about is that they are HEAVY.
The Toyo’s are 59 pounds, the Ridge Grapplers are 66 pounds. The stock 285/70R17 BFG KO2 on my Badlands are 51 pounds.

Plus the 27.5lbs the wheels weigh = hoping I never get a flat. The truck jumps and skips all of the horribly broken pavement in New York. They’re currently at 35psi but I’m going to chalk test soon and see if I can get them a few psi lower.

What a difference a good set of tires makes. Great looking ride and I second the experience with the Open Country ATIII. I installed 275/65R18 on my OBX and love the look and drive.

27.5 pounds for wheels is not much more than stock. The Method 705 17x8.5 +35mm I bought are supposedly 25.3 pounds. Stock Badlands wheels are in the 27-28 pound range. You’re probably 93.5#, that’s heavier than SAS wheels and tires.

Four of my five Toyo OC3 285/75R17 tires showed up today. I’m not sure how FedEx lost one along the way. They look good, hopefully I can get 4 mounted tomorrow.

Went with Rough Country 2.5in level kit, 285/75r17 Toyo Open Country R/T’s on Pro Comp Series 60 Hammers. I did have to remove the crash bars. 4 Wheel Parts was able to get everything super fast.
Ford Bronco New shoes. I went with 285/75/17 Toyo ATIII's 33F635CE-E10E-43F9-AFF4-59C561184B4C

Got my 285/75’s mounted up. I’m very pleased with the size and look. The 1-2 shift and downshifting into corners with the 4.70 gears and manual seems a little more natural that it did on the stock 285/70 tires. I put them at 36psi to start.

@BroncoAZ oooo that looks good. Do you have any straight on from the side pics?

what’s your wheel offset and did you have to lift or remove crash bars to prevent rub?

These are 17x8.5 +35mm offset wheels. No lift and the crash bars are still in place.

@BroncoAZ That’s pretty impressive that it fits without rub. Does your badlands stock sit higher than the blackdiamond? My black diamond has about a 1” rake.

I think the Badlands is half an inch higher than a Black Diamond, but there are a couple guys on here running 35x11.5R17 on Base Broncos with no lift and the same wheels as I have. 285/75R17 will fit on stock big bend or Black Diamond wheels with no lift or mods.
