Just to clarify - this would only be required if you had engaged the “e brake” AND you lost power??

There's a couple other situations regarding maintenance and the lack of user-enterable Brake Maintenance Mode on some configurations that it may be handy with.

I'll chime in with not having any MIC-top problems on my late 22 2-door. However, since some folks have had problems I'd go with the painted top now if I had the options... just for safety-sake.
