Location plays a big factor in pricing as well. My black diamond build up here in the PNW was more expensive than that of my friend in Missouri. Exact same builds but mine was 3k more.

I don't believe this to be true, all the price and order guides from FORD are nation-wide. Taxes and dealer fees are certainly highly variable between states.

Here are a few past tips I've posted that may help you.
This is very sound advice - thank you! Luckily Iā€™ve not even tried to contact a dealer, Iā€™ve only been going off the build and price MSRP. Iā€™m a terrible negotiator but I like the idea of just up and going somewhere else if they are stubborn.

On the flip side to thatā€¦ these new Broncos are so backordered and delayed that I donā€™t know how much negotiation there will be with dealersā€¦ people are buying them with 15k ADM so theyā€™ll probably laugh if I say I want it 2k less than invoice. Either way worth a shot, thanks again!

At this point, be happy with no more than MSRP. Be prepared to wait 1-2 years, depending on your build spec and constraints items.

That was my response on the base Sasquatch pricing on post 10. Iā€™ll link my build for BD and hope thatā€™ll clear it up, thanks!

I was a day 1 reservation for a 4 door base, soft top, 2.7, SAS and aux switches. Picked it up on October 1st. I have used the same Ford dealer for over 20 years and my family has bought a lot of trucks from them. I am also a Ford share holder. My dealership gave me MSRP pricing on delivery and accepted my X-plan. After the fastest test drive ever, I drove off the lot with a total cost of 40k. I am sure my history with the dealership and being a share holder were a huge factor in this. Ask around for who knows who. See if you can get a friend to recommend a trusted dealer. Get your MSRP pricing in writing and signed by a manager.

@DapperDeeds here is an update with some new information to my original post.

In addition, try to only deal with the dealerships "Bronco Specialist" or their "Internet Sales Manager". Start the process by EMAIL ONLY, to ask questions and get a paper trail. Second by phone and third, only after the first two, in person at the dealership. If their website does not list these people, call and ask, have a short talk if you can't get off the phone then proceed to email. Do not go on their turf until you know the lay of the land. Ask some questions you know the answers to, to gauge how honest the salesperson is.

edit: I saw a later reply you meant 2 door. Makes sense. I ordered 4 door because family

Yeah Iā€™m starting to lean base sasā€¦. The bd is automatically 5k more than base to start. Then you have to spend more for mid and whatever add ons you want.

If you add sas to the bd the final price diff between base sas and Bd sas is $7,900. For mid, Mgv seats, and washable floor? I know bd comes with more but you can add those components to base aftermarket for a lot cheaper. For those who justified the final price diff can you explain why?

Price?
SIGNED by the general manager, order in hand?
waiting for the dealership to contact me back. Nothing signed yet although I completely plan to try to fight as much as I need to. I donā€™t mind traveling either, this is still a huge milestone for me to make a decision and place order on what I want šŸ˜

Hello,

I've recently joined the forum but have been very excited about the new Broncos. I'm obssessed with the older ones and have hunted an old one to restore but the cost alone is not worth it to me... especially with the new ones starting to be released. I am wanting to place an order through the build and price but have absolutely 0 experience with this. This will be my first new car purchase through any dealership (all the other vehicles I have owned were high school beaters or through carmax which is "haggle-free"). I apologize if these questions have been answered before but I've researched as much as I can since release and don't feel like i'm hardly any closer to where I want to be.

To the point - I am in Western NC and have no idea what dealership to use so that I don't feel like I'm getting taken advantage of. I don't really have a budget but don't want to spend much over 50K especially as this will be my first offroad/overlanding vehicle.... I'm an extreme newbie (y) and plan to use it as a DD and to make memories with my kids. I've been leaning towards the standard Black Diamond as it has most of what I'm looking for. Build and price says it'll come close to 48K which I thought was fine... until today! I read recently some people have been able to get a 4dr, 2.7 auto, advanced 4x4, hard top, SAS, tow pack, etc. for the same price which I'm not understanding. What's the secret? I've heard Grainger and Stepehens Auto have a good reputation but Grainger is too far and I want to try to keep the purchase in state. I also don't want to spend 48K on a standard BD when others are getting it sasquatched for the same price.

For what it's worth, I had decided not to go sasqautch unless it was on the base. I don't believe I'll use the upgrade as much as I think and the extra cost of maintenance doesn't seem worth it (unless I can get it for 48K :ROFLMAO:)!
Hey! I am in WNC also, and just ordered today. I went to a few dealerships and I can't say enough good things about the Ford Dealership in Waynesville. Not as close as some others to me, but Sean there was awesome, they have one you can actually test drive (apparently that is rare around here??) and they know their stuff. Good luck!

That's awesome! I actaully went college up there at WCU so I know that area well. I'm working with a dealership in Hickory but if they don't work out am close to Charlotte. Good luck on yours and cheers!
