Some will say, "don't worry - you'll only make that mistake once".

Different vehicles will have different angles based on height, accessories, etc. And the angle changes a bit based on movement too.

I’ve hit 30’ sideways and had to change my pants, but didn’t tip. But I wouldn’t claim that as any sort of limit

What they said at Off Roadeo- the riders will freak out before the Bronco will roll over. And that’s pretty much true.
I seem to recall 30* being the magic number when I went to off-roadeo and the pre-off-roadeo driving event for the "hang in there" crowd. 28* which is what I achieved at the pre event - was srious pucker factor and as I recall my brother who was in the rear passenger seat and not strapped eventually made his way to resting on the door whilst holding the Jesus strap. Other brother (rear seat and strapped in) and I (driving)were LMFAO.

Lol this is what almost happened to me last month. I slid down a rock popped off a running board bolt and while having a pretty large vertical incline we also tipped horizontally. My stomach did a few thousand somersaults and my wife and kid lost their minds but we made it. I wish i knew how many degrees we were each way but i was too focused on not rolling over.
You mean to tell me that you did not look over at the inclinometer to see the angle?

As you asked about inclination, not side hilling, I can tell you that my inclinometer read 32 degrees on a very steep climb. I would think you could go steeper than that.

With both inclination and side tilt it’s going to feel like a very bad idea before it actually is a very bad idea. I’ve had it well over 20 on a side hill, and it felt crazy, but that’s not even close to the limit.

I am going to define two terms before I try and answer (defined only for my use here - not correcting anyone).

Inclination I am using as forward and backward.... It depends on your center of mass.... If you start getting your center of mass behind the rear (or front) tire patch is where things will start to get dicey. How high is your center of mass and how long is your wheel base will be significant factors.

Off Camber I am using for my side to side tilt. Again depends on your center of mass height and the width of your vehicle. I am wider and taller than most and I have been in the high twenties with out problem but when getting over 30 it starts getting really tippy....

this can give you an idea of what it is like inside when getting close to that limit... I am pretty sure I got on two tires on this one.

EDIT: Odd it is telling me post may have been removed when it is still there for me.....
I was able to watch it but does say not available.

Pretty tippy there, 😆
