Wow, being on the East Coast I never expected to see so many Badlands (the serious off-roader). Then again, it is a nice rig if you don't mind spending $50k. But for that money I'd have gone WildTrak with the 35's.

Email back from cverde I received states that they have 130 reservations. THats a bit over the 95 you have here. What's causing the delta?!?

Sounds like we more than doubled their reservations. We brought 78 (actual number may go up), means they had about 52 then? Let's just hope those are late reservations!

So 180 at 30% is 54 for the 7/13-15 crowd this is good news. For the Up thru 9/18 crowd I think a little more troublesome...but alot of this is predicated on how many people in the 180 are waiting for late availability options...2.7L, Sas, Black Top, Lux. I'd venture to guess it's probably in the 25-35% range. I for one am resigned to the fact that I will be getting a '22 I have an 8/6 reservation date and I have ALL of the above late availability items in my build. I am hopeful that a new interior option comes along but I am seriously investigating the prospect of getting cloth and reupholstering the interior to the MEDIA version of black and baseball glove that they teased.

TBH, I went snowboarding yesterday with my son, and the parking lot was obv muddy as all hell... I couldn't stop myself from thinking 'wow, a washout interior would be really beneficial right about now'.

I just want my Bronco before my first child. We don't plan to start trying until winter of 2021 but who knows how long the Bronco will take to make and deliver

I'll be really peeved if my Bronco is delivered when she's 7 months pregnant or something. My plan was to take this thing on memorable adventurous sans baby car seat.

Guys I need your help
I'm getting emails from 3 different dealers that I've been speaking to for the past 5 months. I'm responding back to better understand the allocation model. Here are the latest emails from one of the dealers

In short. They're saying that if they convert 73 orders, they will receive 73 Broncos in 2021 for reservation holders. My brain and knowledge of the situation tells me that's FALSE. But I don't want to do this back n forth email thing anymore because they seem pretty adamant. Am I way off my mark here?

I'd say that dealer is very wrong.
They say 73 reservations before 9/18 and they will get all of them in 2021? No way!
There were at least 170,000 reservations by that date, Ford can build maybe 70,000.... that's a lot of unfilled orders for 2021.

IMO, Ford's allocation of 30% is conservative since it's based on a high percentage of order conversions (70%). If Ford can stay on schedule, and order conversions are much lower (40-50%), I'd speculate there could be another round of allocations for 2021.

Therefore, (IMO) true dealer allocation for 2021 will be close to the present 30%, but could be a little higher (maybe 40%??) depending on how things play out.
