No Communication from Ford, No Order Found in System

Hi all,

I placed an order on a Badlands 2.7 SAS Lux on 1/14, I received the order form from the dealership, complete with order number and sales code. I never received any communication from Ford about my order. I called Ford and Ford Marketing last night (they asked me to call the marketing line to make sure my communication info was correct) and both couldn't find record of my order. They said that since I have an order number, that I have an order - but they couldn't explain why it wasn't coming up.

Of course, when I call my dealer - they are annoyed and say 'its going to be a while, like a year' before even pulling up my information.

Should I be worried? Has anyone else encountered this?

You need the backdoor

https://www.ford.com/buy/manage.html?reservationId=########

Enter your order # at the end in place of ######## then it will ask you to log into your ford acct

My ford acct just shows that order is with dealer, but backdoor shows the build and progress

Works for me. If you have problems maybe others can help you

Similar, I ordered on 2/5/22, no confirmation email from Ford.
My dealer assured me, he sees my order is confirmed.
The backdoor link also did not work.

I called Ford, I gave them my order number and they said I have my order. They also couldn’t explain why I can’t see it online and no email.
Others have posted similar experiences, so I’m not too worried.

I don't see the reservation # on my build form? I did the order over the phone and they sent the order form for me to sign and send back and said I was all set. Seems super suspicious - and when I log on (after confirming my email was correct with the dealer) to ford - it shows no orders in progress.

first post! but same here. ford.com says:
Ford Bronco No Communication from Ford, No Order Found in System 1645798631381


but i have (hopefully) a valid order and have the COVP email showing accepted.

Not sure why. First order I placed had a confirmation email within a couple hours.
Resubmitted for 2022 and it also took a couple hours. Not sure why yours is taking so long.

I got my confirmation email, but my Ford account also shows no orders. Ive seen comments about this issue before so im not worried about it

Lol! I understand it hasn't been long, I am in the learning stages on how to look for/track information. I know it will be at least a year before my vehicle arrives.

I believe if you don't have a reservation then it won't show up on ford.com until you get a Vin.

2. If you made you order online through Ford.com and then went to the dealer to place the order. You will have access to backdoor and Ford system.

3. If you went directly to the dealer to order and skipped anything online. You will NOT have access to either. You will unfortunately need to wait until you get your VIN through your email.

You need a reservation number for the backdoor link to work. Ford stopped taking reservations last August. Since then they have only allowed orders.
