No Roof Rack option BL 2.7, but okay for all other trims?

Am I missing something here? I played around with the builds. You can have 2.7 & rack with all trim levels except Badlands? Why is that?

Weight limits.

Badlands with the 2.7L is the heaviest trim, so you’re butting up against the weight limit.

When I go on the MY 22 build I have no problem selecting roof rack with a 2.7 on the two door BL.

This issue is unique to the 4 Door version . . . the 2 Door Badlands with 2.7 can take a roof rack (roof rails and cross bars), the 4 Door cannot (nor a brush guard up front).

It’s due to the GVWR rating under federal law.

For everyone who was around a year ago, you remember that this conversation happened 300x about the 2021 models. Glad I didn't wait, given the rumors about Ford fixing the GVWR rating issue for roof racks on all models for '22 didn't come true!

GVWR ... BL is too heavy in a 4 Door ... main issue is the full vehicle steel bash plates ... just buy the accessories after and install yourself, that's my plan
