WOOOOOSH !

Right over the top of BaseSquatch’s head.

Graybs was making a tongue-in-cheek reference to the fact that no 4-door has a legit claim to any kind of Bronco history.
Nah. Was just explaining that times are changing. I would rather have my 4-Door, than your 0-Door. But thanks for explaining the joke. It was even funnier the second time. 🙄

From the Rough Country website:
NOTES - IMPORTANT
  • Requires minor cutting/drilling.
  • Does NOT fit models equipped with a factory tow hooks in the bumper.
  • ONLY fits models with tow rings under the factory front bumper.
  • LEDs are for off-road use ONLY.
  • May interfere with parking sensors, proximity sensors and external cruise control sensors.

  • 🤷‍♂️ I guess I might understand more if you were going for the “Baja” look otherwise, just a poser.
Thanks for the info grayshadow and I saw that, however I'm just trying to find out if BaseSquatch has experienced any interference as it states it "may" interfere. Looking for first person interaction.

Hmmm… Good question. I don’t know how many sensors the Base Bronco comes with, especially since I didn’t even get the mid-package. And thankfully I haven’t needed the automatic emergency breaking yet. But so far I’ve had no issues driving with the nudge bar installed. All of my sensors for the lights are still working great.

I wish I had a better answer for you. I’ll definitely let you know if any issues arise though!

Not as much as you’d think!
  • Nudge Bar by Rough Country -$303
  • 50” Light Bar by Rough Country -$351
  • Side Steps by 4 Wheel Parts -$981
  • Ditch Lights by Diode Dynamics -$320
  • Hood Protector by Lund Accessories -$100
  • Bronco Emblem by Bad Bronco -$72
  • Bronco Badges by Bronco Depot USA -$85
  • Vinyl Lettering by Vortex Signs -$43
  • Dixie Horn by Boom Blasters -$45
Total: $2300

There are some other mods like my neoprene seat covers that aren’t pictured, and those alone were another $560. But I’ll add more info later about my interior mods, once I have better pictures.

AWESOME build!!

do you have a camera in the front grille? I can't see one in the pics .... was wondering if the nudge bar blocks any of the view from the camera

Thank you!

I do not have a camera in the front. So unfortunately, I do not know if it would block it. I’m not even sure what sensors I have to be honest 😅

three according to Rick Astley....
He’s technically not wrong! I’ve seen parts catalogs say “3-Door” or “5-Door” Bronco. I guess they count the swing gate as a door.

Only thing I don't like is that hood protector. Cheapens the look. Take that off. Other than that, it's tasteful.

Normally I would agree. But I think the hood protector looks great with the Base or Black Diamond grill. On the other trims, not so much. It also matches the fenders and trail sights.

I like the look of your lightbar. Have you discovered any glare coming off the hood. I have seen owners wrap the hood in a matte black. Not sure if that is the best solution. Thoughts?
I haven’t used the light bar or pod lights while driving, so I wouldn’t know. I use them mainly for camping and working outside. But I’ll test them out while driving the next good night I have, and I’ll let you know the results!
UPDATE: I tried driving with them both on last night. I don’t notice any glare from the pod lights. There’s a little bit of glare from the light bar, but nothing annoying. And that’s really good, considering my Bronco is white and ceramic coated.

I hate side-steps in general. As a tall guy, I feel like they make it harder to get in. And I often dirty my pant leg when trying to get out. So I really just got them for extra protection in parking lots, and on the trail.

That being said, these side steps from 4 Wheel Parts are BEEFY & STURDY. They feel so solid, it’s incredible. The Bronco doors kind of curve out in the middle, so I think they’re the perfect width as well.

They’re definitely not for someone who’s looking for low profile running boards. But if you’re looking for protection, they’re the best steps I’ve seen.
Did you install the side steps yourself? If so, do they come with everything needed to install?
