Cyber Orange Paint Thread

How many people here were picking the Cyber Orange because it was not a bland color, and are now considering switching to the velocity blue? Now that it's supposedly available with the others, I'm really considering switching.

You read my mind. I really like CO but want a white top and don’t know if it’ll look wonky with one. Whereas the Velocity Blue should look amazing. Just don’t want to have the same color as every other one cause that seems to be the most popular around here.

Really wish I could see one in person. I love the idea that its only used in the new mustang and bronco so there won't be a lot around.

It'll also be on the 2021 Ranger.

Preeeeach. I definitely like how some look (i.e. Toyota's Cement, Audi's Nardo Grey), but when I really think about it I only like them in a vacuum. I look out across parking lots and see a majority of cars being white and black and silver and it just seems so dreary... Honestly I love Antimatter Blue but my only hesitation would be it verges on black a lot of times depending on the lighting. ?

As there aren't too many models which will come in Cyber Orange, the "Mustang" pages have some nice close-ups of the color in sunlight and with a more accurate color saturation to give this some feedback showing more realistic representation of the color than many pictures in this thread.

Thanks, Doug. This is really helpful. Looks much more like what we have seen more recently and on the Mach-E. If I had to guess, I would say some of the pre-production Broncos did not have the full color application. Maybe only one or two coats, vs the tri-coat. Or maybe just not applied using proper method. Probably the production painting equipment needed to get the full effect was not available at the time.

I believe I had read that Squatch replaces the flares with black ones, I'd have to find the exact thread where I saw that though. ?

I would like to see a comparison. It looks darker. Check out Dozer orange on the jeep. Now that looks school bus orange.
