Where are people buying their Amsoil from?
Go to AmsOil, sign up to be a preferred customer. You’ll get breaks on everything they sell, along with free shipping. I just received my oil 2 days ago, 14 quarts, 6 Bronco, 6 Raptor, 2 extra to take on off road runs.

Oh I didnt know you could order from them directly. Always assumed you needed a dealer but working at a dealer, I have yet to see any dealer walk in here to offer their services. Was wondering where yall found these dealers at since drug dealers were easier to find than amsoil dealers lol

My local Napa carries it on the shelf
How’s the price? Full, or do they discount? Full is around $17 and change. Just paid $11 and change, being a preferred customer.

Couldn’t say. For 70w140 gear oil price was about the same as the other full synthetics tho

Yeah, you definitely can, and once you’re hooked up as a customer, everything is a little cheaper. You can get oil, fluids, glass cleaner (which is excellent), etc.

You’re not going to be able to retire with the savings, LOL, but anything helps. Normally a quart is $17 and change, just paid $11 and change.

Sorry to trigger your condition
Ha, not triggering really. Just some language pet peeves. I also use punctuation and capitals in text messages...

A cell phone service provider? It's Mobil 1. Sorry, pet peeve. Just like silicon boobs, silicone computer chips, nuculure weapons and fentanol...

I can see the confusion. Some folks would never be able to find mobil one oil on the shelf.

My Mom retired as an English teacher. I'll ask her the official standard for three (3) periods at the end of a sentence. I understand the use as an ellipses, and maybe that's how you're attempting to use it, but anyway, just a pet peeve and all.

Not a matter of confusion, a matter of 2 out of 2 words in a brand both 100% incorrect. Like, I said, a pet peeve, not an attack, not something anyone is going to loose any sleep over. Although not trying to be the B6G grammar police, I suppose, in part and unintentionally, I am.

In an informal but accepted usage the ellipsis (...) can mean a sentence trailing off. Specifically above it is a shorter list of a longer list that exists. No need to ask your Mom. Since our conversation will likely continue here is another ... ;)

Oh, informal, as in not in any written standards of English, but completely acceptable on message boards or texts. Like when I trail off to sleep after a long day of work. I sometimes leave off sooner than planned. Always fun to split hairs on pet peeves, but I guess that's why we get to pick our own.
An ellipsis at the end of the sentence usually indicates there is more to follow, not just more that could have been added (formally of course), but I suppose I am quick on the trigger at times.

Anywho, I've got to change the oil in the Bronco next week after two trips to MT in the last 6 weeks, so you can bet I'll be on the lookout for the Mobile One. Might have to ask the guy behind the counter, but of course he'll want to know the year, make and model.

I'll bow at as I'm not much of a grammar or proper English nazi. Much to my Mom's chagrin, I occasionally use the word ain't in every day language.

I'll continue.

Message boards informal, largely yes, depending on where you hang out.

100% incorrect spelling of both words in a 2 word product is not informal usage.

Here are some relevant comments from Thesaurus.com,
"An ellipsis (plural ellipses) is a mark composed of three dots ( … ). Depending on the style guide or grammar resource, the three dots may or may not have spaces between them. In formal writing, the ellipsis is typically only used to indicate omissions, usually in quotations. In informal writing and fiction writing, the ellipsis is often used to indicate hesitation, a long pause, or a sentence trailing off."
Sure, we all get to pick our peeves.

Unrelated - You from AK? I am and just got back.

Used to be. When this whole internet thing kicked off I lived on Kodiak Island and had writers block when the time came to pick my first user name on whatever message board it was back then. Lack of originality has forced me to keep the same username as I undoubtedly would get confused with multiple ones. Lived in Kodiak and Dillingham before the wife finally got tired of being there.

Kind of like the US Calvary 😄

Well, to be fair when the first US mounted troops took the field in the late 1700s, most people couldn't write and you can sure as heck bet the accent on those guys was too far gone to figure out what they were calling themselves.

Last one, getting OT...

I grew up in Fairbanks, so different in the Interior as compared to the S/SE of AK. I road tripped to Valdez on this recent trip to AK. Crazy that Valdez is classified as a rain forest, just like Kodiak Island.
