I just got my local fast signs make them from red vinyl. And applied them myself. I think they were only about $20 for the 4.Thanks again AARDVARK122 for the details on your wheels (just ordered the same set-up and Terry was super helpful) ... really like the FORD detail you added to the caps - can you share how you accomplished this?
Great & TY ... my wheels arrived and I'll hit up my local Fast Signs. Another question - my Bronco has finally shipped (s/b delivered in ~2 weeks), were you able to use the same Base lug nuts on the new wheels? TY Again John!I just got my local fast signs make them from red vinyl. And applied them myself. I think they were only about $20 for the 4.
This is clean! Looking at the flat black set for my WT (if it ever comes in).I went with polished Pro Comp style 1069’s, and Pro Comp 35x12.5x17’s on my 2 door OBX. I’ve had it set up this way since March, and very happy with the results.
Very nice....until you have to spend the day just to polish up those rims. I remember those days.I went with polished Pro Comp style 1069’s, and Pro Comp 35x12.5x17’s on my 2 door OBX. I’ve had it set up this way since March, and very happy with the results.
Son of a bitch. These are nearly identical to the wheels I had on my 89 wrangler in high school. Seeing the phrase old school and then seeing these reminded me that I’m old AF.
They actually don’t need to be polished since they were clear coated at the factory. I too remember polishing a set of aftermarket Alcoa wheels on my 96 Bronco back in the day. They would get dull after a short period of time. These wheels are easy maintenance.Very nice....until you have to spend the day just to polish up those rims. I remember those days.
Awesome. It looks fantastic. But then again I am biased. . Are you going to do any caps? Or just going for the bare look?New Shoes - shoutout to AARDVARK122 and MachOneGarage for all their assistance & guidance on the new wheels ... thewheelsmith.net is a great source for anyone looking for steel wheels w/ custom offset/color options - TY Guys!
What lift do you have? Im running the same wheels but a 295/70r17, which is about 33.25", on stock BD non sas.I went with polished Pro Comp style 1069’s, and Pro Comp 35x12.5x17’s on my 2 door OBX. I’ve had it set up this way since March, and very happy with the results.
I like your ride. I have a 2” rough country lift on mine. There’s enough room for 37’s according to the shop that did the work, although they recommended switching to Sasquatch flares if I eventually do it. It drives great with the 35’s though. What lift do you have? Im running the same wheels but a 295/70r17, which is about 33.25", on stock BD non sas.
TY and you s/b biased ... Yes on the caps (the same you're using) - still waiting for my local Fast Signs to figure out the font (some things are never simple)!Awesome. It looks fantastic. But then again I am biased. . Are you going to do any caps? Or just going for the bare look?
