Order Date: The Next Big Thing

So is order date gonna be the next build & price hype date? Are we gonna have a thread/poll to guess which day ordering starts in December?

Speaking of guessing that date, how much will holidays play into it? I've never followed a vehicle release before but would it make sense to have ordering be the same week as Christmas and New Years (the following week)? Wouldn't a lot of dealership employees and Ford corporate staff be taking their vacation and therefore wouldn't it make more sense for ordering to open at least the week before Christmas week (so the week of Dec 13th) seeing as it's gonna be a crazy rush of reservation holders ordering?

I've heard mid/late December a couple times but feel like earlier December would make the most sense maybe?

I was told by my dealer it would be early in December. That to me means by the 10th, hopefully but again, who knows.

I think your bigger issue is when will the mannequins come so that we can see actual colors? Some colors aren't projected until mid to late Dec.

My dealer seemed to think Dec 1st to Jan 31st for the orders. But who knows.

Their “selling” will only consist of taking down orders and entering them for reservation holders...for a long time.

Yeah they've basically already "sold" them to us so no need to learn how to be all salesmany yet. As long as they're trained well on that ordering system we'll be good.
