New to the whole Bronco thing... when should I order?

I have a similar spec, ordered in Feb 22. No word from Frod or the dealer as to when it will be built. 2 doors will generally be a longer wait.

So is yours being converted from a 2022 to a 2023 or was it always a 2023?

I would look around at dealers in your region, I'm seeing tons of bronco's on their lots.

I ordered 10/21. I am hoping that I will get a 23. It's a total crap shoot on lead times. Parts constraints & dealer allocations are the biggest factors.

I ordered in January and got my Everglades in October. A friend ordered a basic BigBend at the same time and got hers in April. That was a large volume dealer (with no ADM). YMMV.

Its like the lottery.I ordered two on day one .Just got my second one in november.I order a 3rd one in 2021 4 door and had a vin .before i got home from the dealership.. Thought it would take 2 yearse to get it.But nope ..

Order as soon as you can. Then just sit back and wait. It is not costing you anything to order (if it does go to another dealer).

2-door are the longest wait in general. And then Badlands or Wildtrack just makes the wait longer.

I just got my 2-door BASE after waiting 19 months.

There are people who reserved a 2-door Badlands over two years ago who are still waiting.

In addition to not knowing when the bank will open, we don't know how long it will stay open. Ford got enough Maverick orders in 4-days to fill out the year, so they closed the bank in only 4 days.

One more thing... I'm planning on ordering either a 2-door Badlands or Outer Banks... either being extremely loaded up on options. Have those specs meant an extra long or extra short wait time, or is it truly seemingly random as to what gets built?

Depends on what one means by loaded, you could order a Base model with the standard package and may have 5 restraints, or an Outer Banks Lux and only have two. Lots of trivial items are/have been restraints (rims, hitches, bumpers, etc). I don't think a 4-door with a hard-top is going to get built any faster that 2-door like model, but lots of 4-door guys opted for the floppy top to jump the line.
