I’ve seen it discussed about people choosing OBX w/ Sasquatch and weather or not they would lose the body colored fenders. ( Don’t think we know). What about the running boards. Would those switch to the rock sliders w/ the Sasquatch package?
I dunno.. adding Sas clearly states you get different fender flares... so the idea they would take those and go a step further to paint them body color seems like a long shot. Personally I don't like the matching fender flares and door handlers. I want them to accent the profile of the car, not blend in.

But it may look funny if your door handles are color, and your fenders are black. Hopefully they will get it all sorted out in a couple of week so we can all re-think everything and start over :p

I don't think it'll be weird to have body color handles and black flares. I'd rather have painted handles - I think the black ones look cheap. The black flares, on the other hand, fit the vehicle, IMO.

I just compare these sorts of product releases to a movie debut. Whether it's well-intentioned or not, Ford wants to generate buzz. Film studios are not going to release an hour long clip of a blockbuster movie immediately upon announcement. They release a trailer (some worse than others). Ford is giving us a taste, making us feel committed with a refundable down payment, letting us dream and discuss, creating time for us to develop an excited community; then, they'll finally give us more info with a builder and driving reviews.

Also, this is a wonderful opportunity for a company to subtly browse the forums and truly understand their customer base. They've probably done survey groups before even announcing the car, but those are small sample size and can be inaccurate versus unfilter and sometimes "frustrated" opinions of longtime Bronco enthusiasts. These forums give them so much knowledge that they are hopefully baking into the builder and prices.

Maybe I'm being an idealist haha. But, I would also love to have the builder tomorrrow!!! Can't wait for my 4DR AMB OBX.

Oh don't you hate it when a Trailer comes out for a movie and then once it is actually out, they had cut that scene!

My concern isn't that they get the builder tool up... but that they get it right. I don't want to have to go back and redo the builder over and over because they got their crap mixed up and what I thought I could or could not get last week, all of a sudden becomes available or not this week.

That seems to be pretty standard with Ford. No matter what color paint you choose, the door handles match the paint unless a base trim which they are usually black. The flares and other trim are always black regardless of body color. One exception comes to mind is the Edge Elite.

Right, but different places mention different things for Bronco. The only "for sure" colored handles are OB and FE. I had seen language that Wildtraks would get them too, but I looked today, and now it's saying black handles. So we'll see. I want colored ones, though.

Sorry if this has been covered, does anyone know if we will be able to order the OB with body colored top on the 2Dr?

Until build and price is posted, I wouldn't be too surprised or concerned about those descriptions. There will likely be a lot of available options we haven't seen yet.
From your mouth to the Ford God's ears. I really hope they offer a 17" wheel/tire option as I'm not crazy about the looks of the stock 18" wheels on the OB. It's the same on my Jeep Sahara. It has 18" wheels I'm not to crazy about, and there's not a lot of good looking 18" aftermarket wheels out there. And, I just don't want to spend those extra dollars to buy a 17" wheel and tire package. I know, first world problem...right. :)

I reserved the WT but I've been leaning towards the OBX but I need the 2.7L, cloth seats, 12" screen, 10 speakers with dual tops, I think my hopes of staying below $50k before taxes will be crushed. I was hoping ford was going to under cut jeeps prices and put the pressure on the market.

Posted this elsewhere but am here too as it probably pertains most to the Outer Banks crowd who went with color matched fenders, door handles, mirror caps. Did anyone else notice that on Ford's Outer Banks model page the painted color-matched top (2dr) was previously listed as an option but was removed a few days ago (for the 2 dr only and is still an option on 4dr with the dual top pkg), and then today on the main Bronco page's colorizer, the 360-degree 2-door version of all colors no longer has a color matched top on the 2dr when it was previously? That seems like an odd thing to take the time to remove on their webpages unless it it no longer going to be an option for the 2drs at launch. That'll be a huge bummer and makes no sense. Who cares about color matched fenders, handles, and mirrors if the top has to be black or gray. Kinda making me consider waiting to buy until color matched tops become an option...
This is what im wondering...
