I originally was planning on the OB with the Lux/High Package but I decided to get a Big Bend with the Mid Package instead. Only reason was that this is a first model year car and if I really like it in a few years I will go crazy and get something higher end.

That's funny because that is exactly how I feel. If I end up really liking it I'm going to order one exactly the way I want and hopefully it will arrive before I shuffle off this mortal coil. :)

Of the OBX that are built, does your build include the Lux package?
I just received last week my 2DR OBX in AMB with Lux and roof rails and a 2.7. So a lot of the deadly sins. Yeah it’s an odd duck but it’s my odd duck!

i think you are one of the few OBX with Lux package produced
Are they really that rare??? I have an OBX 2d 2.7 Lux and Tow. I couldn't see ordering a Bronco without Adaptive Cruise Control.

And above... I see your 4d and raise you a 2d Carb Gray

Quite satisfied with how my OBX looks now. Added tinted front windows to match rears, Bronco script in gloss black on fenders, swapped to the gloss black Bronco tailgate emblem, and changed to the black beauty rings. Black painted mod. top can’t come soon enough, lol.

I have an outer banks, cactus Grey, with 12 inch screen, 2.7, 4 dr, with the roast leather seats. At first I was questioning getting it. The car was ordered but the guy didn't pick it up. The color has grown on me and it helps the wife likes it. The blue accents are great and have even added othe accents from stickerfab. I rely like the side step since I am on the shorter side. I would highly recommend the OB

i started another thread in the pricing section in regards to the outer banks build

Unfortunately, the OBX trim doesnt get you much by way of luxury/creature comforts. The trim only unlocks the high and lux packages. And if you're getting into this trim for a family SUV build, chances are at a minimum you'll need to pay for $42.5k (4 dr) PLUS leather seats PLUS modular hard top, PLUS high package (sound deadening/12" screen), PLUS $1.5k destination...then taxes/fees/potential dealer mark up.

You're looking at a big number.

Most will fall into Option A/B/C

A - High package + leather + modular hard top. Probably around $50k. Plus destination, tax, and fees, and you'd be hard pressed to be below $55k OTD...or higher if there is a dealer mark up.

B - Tack on lux package to get adaptive cruise and upgraded stereo, and your in the low $50ks (high $50s OTD)

C - Lux package plus 2.7L...you may break $60k OTD.

Guess we'll know more when the build-your-own feature is released...and we get a better idea of dealer mark ups in 6 months.
My OBX sticker price was 52 and has all those features

I have a carbonized grey 4 door OBX. Lux package with auxiliary switches. Got it last Friday already at 700 miles. Love it. Just a tip if you use the lane keeping assist take it off alert and put it on assist. Works much better.

I think these wheels look great and match the vehicle but so many comments around the web about the OBX 'missing leg day'
The OBX definitely missed leg day, so I sent mine back to the gym.

For anyone that has theirs stock, how is the driving position height? Similar to a stock Ranger I’d imagine?

I recently saw a non-SAS OBX while driving past my local dealership and pulled in to look at it quick. The tires and height look better than expected in person.

I have a cactus grey hard top 2.7 lux with locking rear diff being built on 1/3

I plan to eventually add a steel bumper and possibly bigger tires.

For anyone that has theirs stock, how is the driving position height? Similar to a stock Ranger I’d imagine?
I haven't driven a ranger, but that sounds about right comparison wise based on the big bend I test drove.
