Reserved the OB 4DR. The leaked pricing sheet lists a 96T Outer Banks Package for $1595 suggested retail. What is that?

My guess is it's like the F-150 MSRP sticker. You will see it posted as the XLT w/Lariat package in the breakdown of options. Kinds strange, but that's the way Ford does it. I don't remember it being priced separately for the F-150 though.

 i remember the same thing. my 70s jeep (in early 90s) having 31 inch tires and it was a "monster" truck. Had 33s on my '06 4 runner and loved the look. they fit perfect with a 3 inch lift. Now, just waiting to see 33s on the 2DR bronco. Dont get me wrong, i love the 35s look, but if can get similar look with the smaller size feel that's a better compromise for my 75% DD and 25% light off road use.

Yes? it can be 2 door, 4 door, 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder.
I’m also planning to get the 2 door auto and using it mainly for daily driving ... do you think I should get 2.3l or 2.7l?

I still havent gone to the dealership and driven either engine. I want the 2.7 because of FOMO, but I might be OK with the 2.3L, depends on price and how much difference there is. I would guess that if you havent worried about having the "big" engine in any of your previous cars, you would be OK with the 2.3L. But I am going to reserve judgement until I drive them both and get a feel for how they perform and (maybe more importantly) sound.

I reserved a Black Diamond 4 door. i was planning to add V6, auto and mid package. Now thinking 2 door Outer Banks with squatch may be the way to go. Need to see the Cyber Orange in person. Area 51 will probably be the choice.

does the starting trim really matter in this scenario? If we want it all, we would want it all regardless of the starting trim. It’s unlikely the options will cost more on one trim than another (unless you’re going up more tiers, e.g from standard to luxe rather than from mid to luxe).

it only matters if ford doesn't let you individualize it.

I started at the ob as I wanted the upgraded leather and bigger screen. thing is, I still wanted the bigger engine as well. the price just keeps going up. it's always just a little bit more....this is not an inexpensive car optioned to the hilt. you're looking at over 50K for the ob in leather and bigger engine..+ the lux

I've sidelined the ob. I would still like leather...but the vinyl/rubber is a solid choice as well....and i don't want the upcharge to go to the bd.

i would like to put either of those in the base or bb. i'm ,hoping they at least allow the vin/rub.

if ford says no we won't let you do that, well,..their backing me into a corner to spend less money, as i'm not spending 8k more on the bd just to get rubber. I realize you get other things, but the cost is just not worth it imo.

just gimme what I want. I don't care if I have to pay more. it's still less than the complete package level..base>bb>bd>ob, and it can't be that much a ripoff
