I understand the pineapple pizza is an in joke from the guys who have been around longer then us newbies but I have talked to some people in the know about Pineapple on Pizza:

Lord Eddard Stark "If you like pineapple on pizza you're weak, your bloodline is weak, and you will not survive the winter!"

It's not really about liking pineapple on pizza, but mentioning it to invoke the Ford Bronco leak Spirit.

My grandfather worked at the Ford truck plant in our area for 41 years he told me that the first 50 to 100 production models have blemishes and they use them for paint testing before any metallic flake or clearcoat

I also wonder if maybe they are doing this to test the various paint colors and paint process to the elements. Missed areas, paint performance etc.
Looks like they have all of the colors now they let them sit there and monitor weld spots, grind areas, undercoated areas.

Just for reference, I worked in a modern Ford paint shop during 3 new model launches.

I would be very surprised if any of these bodies escape the crusher. Obviously pre production units used for paint shop programing and tryout. Second photo sure looks like bare e-coat to me.

Some of these are likely wearing a colored primer, a process that most makers use. Different colored primers based on finish color.

Process simplified -
Body wash
e-coat, bake
e-coat sand and scuff
prime, bake
prime sand and scuff
top coat, bake
top coat inspection and any needed repair

Bodies then go into surge buffer conveyors and are routed to assembly depending on complexity. Not out to sit in the weather.
By that rationale, my guess would be that this mysterious tan color that has everyone raving is probably just an e-coat or a primer layer destined for Cyber Orange.

There are a couple colors you folks have not been made aware of.
Maybe they've been reading this board and seeing how dissapointed everyone is with the colors. Hopefully they're reading about the grey hardtop as well.
