Painted fender flares and grill gloss black

i just bought a wildtrak grille and black OBX flares and got a set of mirror caps from Ford and had them painted. The door handles are just caps

Damnit you beat me to it. thats the look I was/am wanting . I have the two door HPR and want the black fenders painted like the OBX has. mine is a BB . I went last week and priced them from the dealership @ $260 each , so im saving my dimes to order a set of four. still have to pay to get them painted , uug !!! another expense.

could you give me an idea where you ordered yours or did you find them on the Bronco boards ? and what did they cost you ?

They look great. Our 2023 Outer Banks had them painted from the factory. I think it really makes the Bronco look great.

I got them off a member here for $400 shipped, already painted i just put up a wanted add and within a week i had a set found and purchased

Keep an eye on the marketplace for a set. There was someone selling cactus gray flares. Who cares what the color is if you are getting them painted. Still cheaper than going through the parts counter.

The going rate is $400 for a set of painted flares. I found a set of VB painted flares for my Black Diamond. Kept the original MIC flares for trail riding.

If the shop used the proper softener in the paint (specific for plastic parts that can flex) and prep, it should not crack outside of extreme circumstances ...like contact with a tree on the trail.

Looks great! Definitely worth it and makes the Bronco look much much more finished. The wheels and tires help do that as well. Very sharp.

@SLBronco11 - I tried to zoom in enough for my over 40 eyes, but the picture became blurry. Is there any texture left under the paint or is it totally smooth?

My JLUR had painted fenders and I really like them over the textured non-painted black. I am thinking about doing this with my current fenders.

Looks great. Did you put flaps on yet? If interested I'm selling mine that look awesome with all black. Can't use them since I changed out my rear bumper. Selling for 1/2 price $500.

Looks Great.Did the same to my Black Diamond, but took a different route:
Bought OBX Grille and Black Flares (Takeoffs)
Ford preformance now has a Black Emblem and Bronco.

I did the same thing ,except I have a 2 door and painted the grill , ford bronco fenders
