Thank you - this has been very informative.

It seems I've been finding some decent buys on sasquatched wildtracks & badlands without the lux package. The lack of the B&O system is no big deal, that can easily be remedied. The homelink is amazing that you can buy a car that's this expensive and it doesn't come with it.

has anybody done the Kia mirror and if so how hard was it to wire in?

thank you

Bronco will disconnect/re-connect swaybar on unlevel terrain and while under load. The Jeep needs to be on fairly level ground.

Dollar for dollar the jeep will be superior to the bronco for wheeling. I tell inquiring minds ā€œfor $50k in upgrayddes you too can make your bronco wheel as well as a stock rubicon on 35’s!
My Jeep/Toyota friends all say a Bronco on 35's is a Jeep on 33's.

I have a 23 WT 2 door. I honestly don't know much about wheeling but I took it to Windrock park and did a few Jeep badge of honor trails without disconnecting the sway bar. Thing was pretty impressive. My buddy has an older monster Jeep and even he was impressed.

Notwithstanding considering the source, why are Broncos sweeping the KOH stock class since 2021, if they're so worse than stock Jeeps on smaller wheels?

If you want Adaptive Cruise Control, then the lux package is a must have... Also upgrading the stereo is actually cheaper without the B&O, but not necessarily easier, there's the MoBridge DSP/amp that absolutely transformed the sound system in my Bronco. The MoBridge is currently only compatible with the B&O setup.

For me, I would find a used 24 Badlands non-sasquatch lux package Bronco and then add the suspension that I wanted. No sense in paying for the Sasquatch package unless you want to run 37" or larger tires.

Otherwise, a 22.5 MY - 24 MY WildTrak HOSS 3.0 Lux package with the heavy duty steering rack would be my 2nd choice starting point (all WildTrak Broncos have the Sasquatch package).

23 WT owner. Yes it has HOSS 3.0 and Fox shocks. 2.7 mid lux package and will cruise all day long at 85 on I40.
It will also handle any off roading we have tried. Tellico in the mud and river crossings, pivot steer was a life saver in one spot where the trail just stopped in trees....
Yes you need to add skid plates but no unless you are going to push it don't worry about sbd's.

been looking at Broncos, or as they say in my 4x4 club "thinking of going over to the dark side"

My current ride is a:

I'm pretty versed in off roading in a Jeep, however in the Bronco world I'm looking at 23 / 24 Wildtracks and Badlands (both Sasquatched). Seems to me that the major difference is Wildtracks = Hoss 3.0 and Badlands = Swaybar Disconnects. That is one of my questions. In my Jeep, I disconnect the swaybar , (when I remember to - because I just push the button). I'm pretty sure most of the places I go it isn't necessary but it may make things a little easier. That said, the Hoss 3.0 setup appears to be all the suspension I would need and appears more "heavy duty" the hoss 2.0 on the Badlands.

Any thoughts on this, and has anyone added Swaybar Quick disconnects to the wildtracks? Any additional information that maybe useful? One thing I noticed on the test drives is the Bronco is "head and shoulders" above the Jeep on the highway. The 2.7 is more responsive than the Jeep's 3.6 and it out handles and accelerates on the road. If anyone has experiences off roading the Bronco, I'd like to hear how the Bronco is on trails and in the desert (AZ & UTAH).

Thank you
If you go with Hoss 3.0 just install an antirock to your Bronco. Just like you would do with a Jeep with no eletronic sway discos. Or you can go the Apex Design route, again, same thing you would do with a Jeep JL.

if you go Badlands hoss 2.0 you can get a HD steering rack and have sway discos on a push of a button.

Either way, the bronco is phenomenal offroading. Especially for an IFS. Even more so in a desert racing scenario.
I also came from a JLUR platform with 2.5ā€ teraflex lift and 35s, and can tell you everything I used to do on the Jeep I do it with my Bronco on 3ā€ lift and 35s. You do have to be more mindful and avoid aggressive skinny pedal because of the IFS. But honestly I thought I would but don’t miss my Jeep at all. The Bronco makes everything more fun because I am constantly proving to my jeep buddies how capable it is haha
My only complaint is the rear control arms hanging too low. But I installed skid plates to protect it and another to protect the rear shocks. Highly recommend skids for peace of mind

if I could ask What's involved with running 35s on a non Sasquatched badlands? Would an eibach coilovers set add enough lift. On a Jeep, you may need to recalibrate the tire size (33 to 35 maybe, 33 to 37 definitely) would for scan do this?

Thank you

Non sas badlands has same suspension as sas. Most people add a 1ā€ level lift to front, take off crash bars in front, and it’s ready for 35’s.

Since 99% of the driving is on road, and the IFS makes a nicer ride, most feel the bronco rides better for the money. The little you may lose off road is negligible.

What put me over the top for bronco, I have two words for you, death wobble.
