Is your squeak all over the top or just the rear shell? My original hardtop did not squeak, but my newly replaced rear shell does. It seems to be coming from where the passenger side vertical section is fused with the rear window section.

Take some WD-40 and lightly spray a paper towel. Gently wipe down all rear tailgate seals, weather stripping, rear window gaskets, etc. Makes a world of difference and takes about a minute.

Was wondering, prepping for winter weather and possibly doing this to all rubbers /seals so windows and tailgate don't get "stuck". Maybe make things a little easier ?

Thoughts?

Don’t hit the seals with WD40. Use Sil-Glyde. Also put a little on the alignment pins and see if it helps.
