Trailbuilt, they won't do anything now that they are damaged. Offered me some spacers

You can see where the calipers dug in. The rim fit fine. Only thing I can think of is once the weight was on it the clearance was taken up

It looks like the wheels will self-clearance soon enough. SEND IT!

Either throw on 1/4" spacers or cut away that outer edge with a router or other cutting tool. It doesn't look like you need much.

My concern with spacers is the lug studs on the bronco seem to be short.

If I were in your shoes, I would not use these rims if I had to modify the rim or the caliper in anyway. If you do, you are begging for trouble. This sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

If the company sold these as fitting your Bronco I would keep pushing them to make it right.

Yes, did they or their website say they would fit? If so, they are liable to fix, replace or whatever. Take screenshots.

That mounting surface looks abnormally large. I bet there is a mfg defect here....

And if the company won't, contact your credit card company and see what options they have to help you.

Looks like they are listed as compatible with the Bronco, but that's just based on bolt pattern.

The wheel would have been touching once bolted on. The physical position of the wheel and rotor are fixed in place. The caliper floats, but that's just a fraction of an inch of movement inward when pressing the brake. No reason that the caliper would space itself outward once you set it on the ground.

Unfortunately this seems like one of those situations with no good solutions. The way I see it there are 4 options:
1. Wheel spacers (not the look you want)
2. Fight the company you got them from (lots of effort with no guaranteed results)
3. New wheels (expensive)
4. Machine a bevel into the shoulders of the existing wheels (expensive, and modifying wheels is less than ideal)

Personally I'd take them to a machine shop. It looks like it will only take a minor bevel to clear, and because of the location I doubt it will affect the integrity of the wheel. Definitely do all 4, and have them professionally done. HOWEVER, it may be difficult to find a shop willing to modify a wheel due to liability concerns, so call around.

At this point, after about 4 hours of calls. The company has acknowledged that it was not my fault and is looking into a possible solutions and are going to take the Rims back.
