A good way to solve most of those issues is a high mount intercooler.... Just a thought.

Just trying to come up with a "fix".... Lot of ways to do it including cutting up what is there Or replacing... OR.... High mount intercooler... It seems obvious to me there is not enough air flow to or through the intercooler.....Or a properly designed / engineered winch bumper, & that ain't it![]()
except no one has one yet for the braptor.A good way to solve most of those issues is a high mount intercooler.... Just a thought.
I think the other issue is the gusset wings, its going to create an airflow void to most of the grill area.I wonder if DV8 could have blocked anymore air flow with that design...goodness
That is a good point... although I did hear through the grape vine that a couple of companies are working on one... BUT that does not help right now.except no one has one yet for the braptor.
First chance I get I want a new IC, but just waiting on the right one. Ford OEM ones suck big time have since the inception of the Ecos. That is a good point... although I did hear through the grape vine that a couple of companies are working on one... BUT that does not help right now.
I would watch Mishimoto.... There are some other intercoolers that are probably as good BUT the whole package is one of the best products I have ever dealt with.... VERY impressed. They even thought through how to attach wiring that is just bypassing, and has nothing to do with the install other than it is close by... Exceptionally well thought out.First chance I get I want a new IC, but just waiting on the right one. Ford OEM ones suck big time have since the inception of the Ecos.
