Area 51 is going to be popular. It was my choice as well until i joined the forum. Now I'm leaning toward one of the blues or the other red.
It looks like dark epoxy primer. Cactus Grey looks like grey urethane primer. I have both kinds of primer in my paint cabinet if anybody needs a color match.

Suggest to check with Autoanything.com for floor mats. We like their reasonable prices
Basey McBaseface.

May go all out and get the 2.7 if it is only a $300 upgrade.... And floor mats, gotta have them.
Base comes with carpet front floor mats

Man, like so many of you, I have been to the moon and back on these builds. I have been BD V6 auto for MONTHS!!!.... but at the last minute I think I have gone Badlands manual. My reasoning is, I really want the robust off-road shit and at least 33s, but I also don't want to mess with aftermarket stuff. 35s/Squatch on BD would be too much for my planned usage, but 33s will be just right. I don't need swaybar disconnect or heavy duty axles, but this seems to be the right out the door option.

I'm a writer, I work from home, live in Colorado, and I might drive 5K miles per year tops. So the manual, while not strongly preferred one way or another, kind of makes sense. I don't commute, ever, and never will again. Which reinforces the reality that this is a toy, not an important daily mode of transport. I want the V6 but don't think I will miss it, really. My first few cars were manuals, this will be fun again.

Final build:

Badlands
2-Door
Iconic Silver (or Cactus, someone please help me with this, I'm losing my shit but I think silver with added decals later...and maybe some oxblood red seat covers to pop)
Manual / 2.3T
Mid package
Roof rails
Yakima medium basket w/net
Floor mats

$46,079 and done. I hope....

Any nitpicks? Please send them my way. Love to hear your thoughts!

Chris

To my understanding It does, but I have since changed to the HD bumper as my dealership (granger) said they were not able to get that yet...

Not one damn thing else.

The only “deadly sin” is that its 2-door. Hope it won’t be delayed. I may end up with the first Bronco in my town. But, it being a college town, I fully expect some Ole Miss frat boys from Texas and Georgia to show up somehow in fully luxed WildTrak Sasquatch rigs before I get mine.

I’m also hoping AMB is an unpopular color, so maybe mine will be unique around here.

By the way, my kids are aghast that I got the “cheapest” trim with “ugly” wheels and not four doors.
