Hey All. Is anyone using this adapter to power their wolfbox? Any issues? And how does it power on? By ignition or is it constant power? New upgrade required the fuse locations I was using for the wolfbox so I either need a new fuse location or something like this. Thanks in advance

Yes I use it and have had no issues. If you use Auto Stop start the constant reboots are annoying.

Mine worked for a while and eventually stopped providing enough power. I switched to the fuse tap using what they provided

Currently using something similar, FitDVR, until I find time to hardwire something. Mirror loses power as soon as the accessory is turned off.

That one should work. I'm using an older adapter that provides a USB-A port with a USB-A to USB-C cable without issue.

Main thing to watch out for is amp draw. Some adapters cannot go past 2A @ 5v. I'll have to hop into my Bronco and see what my FitDVR is drawing with 2 cameras. I'm currently not running the 3rd camera. I'm planning on installing that under the carriage.

I ran into an issue using one of these with a Terunsol dash cam. The USB-C ports seem to use USB Power Delivery, wherein the port asks the attached device how much power it wants and they negotiate. The camera didn't support PD, so the output from the adapter stayed at 0V. The camera powers up fine from a USB-A port. And my phone powers up fine from the Dongar adapter or directly from the USB-C port. I verified all this using a USB power tester. Note that this is a limitation of the camera, not the Dongar adapter (and the Dongar support was excellent).

Ordered this one a few years ago, zero issues, used with two models, really easy to install.

For those that may be curious, according to my fitDVR, the Wolfbox is pulling around 2.5A @5v +/- 0.3v. This is without the 3rd camera plugged in.
