Just to add to my notes since reading others - I only use 93 from top tier stations. When it happens it feels like I could step on the throttle for days, but since in limp mode it only accelerates stupid slow, so maybe that makes you feel as if the brakes are on? I can eventually get to 45-55 to finish my trip, but I found it less aggravating to pull over and reset if feasible.

UPDATE:
After getting underneath the bronco and checking all my connections and tightening down the fuse panel I took it on the beach.
No codes, no boat anchor and she ran like a raped spider monkey!
I really wish I know which one of those things was the culprit but I didnā€™t have the patience to test it.

Yā€™all were super great in helping me figure this out!

Iā€™ll be out stomping around in the woods on some trails tomorrow so Iā€™ll post another positive update if all goes well!
Thanks everyone!

What connections? What exactly did you do to the fuse panel?

Iā€™ll be dead honest, I donā€™t know what theyā€™re called as far as the connections go. They were attached to the wheel assembly (just the connecting fittings I could get to) On the fuse box, there are three 7mm bolts that that run down the middle that seemed loose.

Mine did the same in the sand. Was horrible. Like the brakes were on. Barely got out. Do you all run sand with advancetrac off? It's the only thing I didn't try. Has anybody run the dunes with advancetrac on? Just curious. Otherwise I have some kind of sensor issue.
