Procal install issues!

I’m trying my best to install the Procal tune at home. I’ve got the voucher id registered. The laptop notices the programmer plugged in via usb. I’ve got my stock tune showing up on the programmer. Yet when I attempt to download the Procal 4 software, I’m notified that it has downloaded successfully. Click the zip file to download. Then nothing shows up on the programmer tab. What on earth am I doing wrong?

-Download procal software onto laptop.
-Connect procal to computer and let it update.
-Disconnect from computer and plug procal into bronco and go to programming to obtain stock calibration.
-Disconnect from Bronco and reconnect procal to computer to save stock calibration and download performance tune.
-Disconnect procal from the computer and reconnect procal to bronco to install performance tune.

Okay just making sure that’s the way you were doing things.

Because I was very confused by this:
“I’m notified that it has downloaded successfully. Click the zip file to download. Then nothing shows up on the programmer tab.”

I don’t understand which zip file you’re referring to

The step where I download the new tune to the programmer. I click to download it. I’m notified that it’s been downloaded, yet on the programmer there’s no performance tune

After getting the stock tune from the bronco, once you plug the procal back into the computer, the procal program on your computer should automatically download it after you sign in with your username, password and voucher ID.
There is no zip file that you need to click on.

Ok so maybe that’s where I’m getting stuck at. Once I plug the programmer back into the pc, I’m not asked to sign into anything. And the little Procal tab just shows it’s connected with only the stock tune

Ah okay. Yeah there should be a small box that pops up separately that has you sign in with all your info.
Not sure really sure why it isn’t doing that though.

I think I remember logging out and then logging back in, it was over a year ago though so my memory might be blurred.

I dont remember how I did it but I do recall this being the hardest part of the process

Ford software is horrible

Think I got it figured out. All I did differently was made sure my pc was up to date. And plug/unplug the programmer couple times.
