Question for those of you with aftermarket amps

I am installing a kicker Key which is 50 watts RMS per channel. Nearly all of the 4" speakers on crutchfield are 35 watts MAX RMS or less. JL, Hertz, Memphis, even some of the Kicker 4" speakers. am I going to fry my speakers if they aren't rated for 50 RMS or more?

Probably not. But if you’re concerned with it, there are actually several rated at 45+. Just gotta use the filters to find them. For 2-way ones, try to look for ones where the tweeter sits low though, or they’ll hit the grilled in the dash.

I have S40 from Alpine with Key 200 and they are fine.

I have infinity 4032 for my 4 " with the kicker key 200.4. You are feeding 4 speakers on one channel the ones in the kick panel and the dash speakers. I've ran it pretty loud for a few hours (top less road trip) and didn't hurt anything.

I Have Focal Comp speakers up front powered by JL 100x4 amp... 2 channels to speaker pod 2 to Comp Speakers ... Can play music at 30 or maximum ... little to no distortion... Kicker sub in stock B&O enclosure w 300 w Alpine pushing..... No Thundering bass but good clean sound with to top off for me and everyone else at the red light...
