I installed the Rampage Trailview Soft Top on my 2023 4dr Badlands the other day and have been loving it. But on Christmas Eve we had pretty steady rain all day and when I went to check on the inside the next day found some water had made its way inside. The worst of it was in the cargo area, the dog bed I have in there was pretty wet, and it looked like rain was getting in at the zipper/velcro connection between the back window and the side windows. I've read reviews here with no indication of an issue with rain, has anyone experienced this issue? Did I royally screw up the install?

I love the top but if I have to throw a car cover on it every time it rains I don't know that I'll keep it. (I have reached out to RealTruck who appears to be the parent company that owns the Rampage product line, awaiting a response)

When I pulled back the velcro for the window storage on top, i also noticed moisture accumulation inside there as well as under the velcro along the sides of the top (with some mosture on the inside rail)

Hi Bobby! I can look into your Bronco's leak concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Bronco's VIN?

....How would you look into an issue with an aftermarket product?

This thread probably didn’t get much traction because it’s in an odd sub forum.
Did you ever find a resolution to this?

I’ve been looking at this top for the 2D, but it’s not even available at the moment.
Can’t find information on the actual company or where this is being made.

I reached out to their support ([email protected]) and got in touch with a nice guy named Bruce. He indicated he was unaware of any of the issues and asked for some images to investigate. I ended up sort of solving it on my own, I think it was just an install issue on my part. The only thing that you can really screw up with the back windows is the top of the rear window because it attached with a velcro strip. I'm pretty sure I just attached it too low so the window wasn't taut enough. Since the initial leak I have removed and installed the windows a half dozen times making sure to put the back window on high enough and have had no issues.

The rampage product line is a brand owned by RealTruck. They hooked me up with a second retention strap for when the top is open since the kit only comes with one. All i did was ask how I could purchase one and Bruce had one sent to me. I still need to tweak them though because neither of the two holes on the strap make it the right length, one makes it too long the other too short. I've had a few times when the retention strap came off and the top caught wind and tried to go up on me. I'll probably just bend the hook on the retention strap and it should be good.

Overall a great soft top in my opinion, especially when you find a deal like I did (CJ Pony Parts, $880).
