Raptor Gas Tank Size?

Yesterday i was able to fill 16.6 gallons with 34 miles left on fuel gauge. i get 14.2 mpg currently. is there a big reserve after hitting 0 on the gauge?

The official spec is 20.8 gallons. I put 18.4 in last time. It was pretty low.

18.5 is most I have put in mine, it was showing 15 miles reserve.

Can these tanks be installed on other Broncos?

The Ford owners manual does not distinguish tank size between the models. They state two tank sizes based on wheelbase alone (doors).

I want to add larger fuel tanks to both long and short wheelbase models!

it's 21g, I've put in 20 once..... white knuckler on a trip to get to the next station. The gauge is pretty accurate, and I think to "22 miles to empty" was too. The tank is too small for a vehicle that gets somewhere around 14 mpg. There's no good place to mount a jerry can unless you replace the whole rear tire mount an bumper with an after market one to the tune of 2-3k. I don't like the double hinge you have to deal with then. first you swing out the spare, lock it in place, then you can open the tailgate.... not deal. you can use aux pacs if you have a roof rack and don't take your doors/top off..... not for me.

I wish someone would come up with a smaller muffler and aux tank package.

When I picked up my Raptor from the dealership, they were out of gas so they drove with me to a gas station to fill it up. We managed to drive 2mi past '0mi to Empty'. I was impressed but have zero intentions of every doing that again! Pucker factor was at max!
