Not sure if it has has been discussed (tried searching but search function is horrible). So I’ve seen we expect ~60-80k Broncos to be built in MY21. Without factoring in dealer allocation, is there a way to ascertain what order you were in the BIG picture.

For reference I was a 7/14 1500 CST reservation and I’m 1019XXX

Where you are in the BIG picture is actually useless. More relevant is where you are in your specific dealer's allocation. And even THAT number is actually useless since you can always get passed up by folks behind you based on commodity restrictions.

That's not to say there isn't a system...there is, there is simply no way to know when your number will be called.

I had a lengthy post on this and we all decided there is no rhyme or reason to the reservation numbers that we could ascertain

Quoted for truth.

Reservation numbers are not assigned consecutively… for computer reasons.

Generally speaking, you can grossly infer whether one reservation was made before another one (based on the number)…. But they don’t directly translate in that way.

It's been discussed since around 7/13, but no, the number doesn't mean a whole lot, especially now when you factor in dealer allocation and manufacturing constraints. Timestamp, where you are at your dealer, limiting build factors, and plain old luck are what you've got to go by.

Yep, was discussed quite a bit early on and there was never any clear consensus on what the numbers correlated to. Almost go in order, but not quite.

Thanks Zack...was kind of hoping you’d reply. You seem to be more spun up on this whole debacle than most.

edited to get the correct spelling of Zack’s name haha
