The 4 Low rear camera issue did not bother me, so I did not go for the recall. Now 22C27 seems disappeared. Has it?

No, the recall is still active.
However, the programming software for 8” screens has not been released yet, so currently the recall is only for the 12” screens.

So weird, ford mailed me twice to take it in for the recall. Good to know I didn't waste my time trying to get it in

My dealer checked with my VIN and said as of August the software was not available.

Curious if you can please check this for us again and see if that 8" software update is available? last month they said they couldn't do Ford #22C27 b/c its not available for the 8", yet.

Nothing new still. They said an update would be available Q4 of 2023, but it doesn't seem that actually happened. The update is only available via an OTA update. There still is no update released to manually do it using FDRS.

I got the OTA update at the end of December. Seems to have fixed the 4L camera issue, but my compass has been stuck on North and Google maps (AA) glitchy since.

That’s interesting. I wonder if something didn’t completely load correctly in the update. You may need to bring it in and have them try and reload the software, or update it to the latest software if there’s an available update.
There is a TSB for various sync issues that they should perform. TSB 23-2437
