Hey @CarbonSteel, how are those transmission fluid changing instruction going.. I don’t think punching the pan would be part of that..Obviously not the way you want to have to/be forced to do it, but looking at the reddish chocolate color of the fluid on the pan itself, it needed to be changed.
Trying to decide when to do it. I have about 6,500 miles on it and was going to wait to 10K.Hey @CarbonSteel, how are those transmission fluid changing instruction going.. I don’t think punching the pan would be part of that..
Just curious, I have the 30,000 mile 2022 Wildtrak that has front /back differentials done and transfer case.. Next is the transmission and I bet the fluid is dark…Trying to decide when to do it. I have about 6,500 miles on it and was going to wait to 10K.
I just changed mine Thursday at work, same mileage and it wasn’t too bad at all. ULV usually stays pretty clean typically.Just curious, I have the 30,000 mile 2022 Wildtrak that has front /back differentials done and transfer case.. Next is the transmission and I bet the fluid is dark…
I had mine up on a lift to do it until I realized ambient temps outside wouldn't let it get to the proper level-check temp (I seriously drove it around for an hour on the way to the garage and it never touched 200 - the joys of frigid Michigan).Just curious, I have the 30,000 mile 2022 Wildtrak that has front /back differentials done and transfer case..
