Your pic is of the rock rail, he is asking about the removable factory steps (which I do not believe are available any longer) that attach to the rails. I THINK that's what the question is about.
I have the removable hoop steps on my build. It’s due to be built next week, and they’re listed on the window sticker.

I ordered the hoop steps for a few reasons:
1). They look cool, better looking IMHO than the running boards on the OBX
2).They’re removable
3).The rail they’re attached to hides the rocker panel pinch welds
4).At $395, they’re a great deal

I went with the IAG full length steps, but they also have the smaller steps, both attach to factory rock rail. Steps will arrive well before my BL but at least I’ll be ready for the fam on day 1

I added these to my build as well, they really are good value at $395 and when you have a 5' 2" wife you have to have something like this. I was curious as well how far the rail extended because I want to get mudflaps.

I believe that at least one of the sets of flaps that Ford offers are designed to be used with the oem rock rails installed. They are shaped to allow the rail to pass through the flap.

Just installed mine. 10 minutes if that.

I also bought mudflaps, from Mabett. I don't think the hoop steps will protect as well as the full length running boards.

Looks good! I went with the OEM hoop steps because the OBX doesn't come with rock rails.
