Sorry if this has been asked before but I have my reservation from just a few weeks ago but have yet to convert it to an actual order.

Can someone give me a simple breakdown of the steps I need to take? I know that I have to provide the dealer with a build sheet; receive pricing ; anything else and any advice so I don’t screw something up?

Thanks!

Greetings James and welcome to the forum. If you've completed your reservation; I'd ask if your dealer is local first? If so, build your bronco on the build and price tool. print that out or save and email yourself a copy, take that to your dealer and place your order. Biggest steps is to make sure your order is correct as you want it, agree on pricing (invoice, MSRP, etc...), receive a printed DORA (copy of order in dealers system), agree on what deposits are required if any (some have only put the original $100 reservation fee, others have put $$$$ down) GET IT IN WRITING up front with a purchast agreement. Then once all is said and done, you wait..... you are likely looking at a model year 2022 or 23 depending on what options you choose.

That's about it in a nutshell. This forum is full of great info and the search feature is okay at best, but worth using as some will tell you.

Hope that helps. Cheers!

Definitely get your agreement in writing… maybe signed by a manager instead of just a salesperson that may leave in the next couple of months.

There are a few dealers on here that are worth looking at, even if you have to drive a little ways to take delivery. I would think since you’re in NY that @DealerInsider would be ideal for you as far as driving distance, since he is in PA. Good luck

Thanks for the info.

My reservation is with Brewster Ford in NY but I’m considering changing it to Chapman. It’s just as easy to travel to.

Yeah… Chapman of Horsham. I think he still has a % under invoice deal too. So, for me, it makes it worth traveling.

Yeah, so just to double check the e-mail from ford is a view and confirm order e-mail that is then tracked on the Ford account, correct? I have an order # but still the message of "Ordering with Dealer" with a green dot. I also double-checked that I'm locked in with invoice pricing which they confirmed in writing.

Should I receive anything else from Ford? I still can't confirm with Bronco Off-Roadeo, so just double-checking that everything is right.

I'm in the exact same scenario. It's been in this same state (ORDERING WITH DEALER) since they started manufacturing. I've emailed my dealer four times in as many months (Bozard in FL) and they have not replied. Pretty disappointed. The dealers know nothing and don't seem to care enough to look into it. The few conversations I've had were pretty useless. They either guess about things or seemed to just make things up. Told me I could get a soft top if I wanted to get it earlier which isn't true because I have an FE, etc...

But they have events with food trucks and EB on site. Doesn't that make up for it?

I did go to the Bronco Off-Roadeo which I highly recommend. It was a blast. It's the communication I want. Don't lead me on, don't play games.

I attempted to use Bozard for my second long term order because they are closer. The reservation was made and I emailed my build sheet to the salesman. Crickets for a week. Then started the bullshit. Waiting on this. Need to get that from Sales Manager. Ford needs your drivers license. The order was never converted so I walked away and canceled. In the meantime, I went back to my original dealer(90 miles away) and made a new reservation, gave build sheet, and made a few changes. The system was acting up (shocking for Ford), but they kept after it and we converted the order.
Long story short, Bozard can talk about how awesome they are, but in reality, their customer service is just as shitty as a vast majority of other dealers. I’m sticking with Mullinax.
