My Bronco was hit by a Grand Cherokee and the sidewall got a decent gouge into it from their bumper and the wheel itself. Will all the tires need to be replaced with 6k miles on them or just the one?

They are liable for this so will not be costing me anything.

Apologies if this has already been posted.

I would just do the 1 that needs replacing.

Shouldn’t be a problem at all. Your spare is still probably new or just put into rotation. Put the new tire on the same axle as that one and you should be good to go.
Yes spare tire was just rotated on just after 5k miles, that makes sense to me.

Make sure the bearing isn't damaged or anything else in the suspension isn't tweaked. At a minimum put your hands on the center cap areas after driving it a bit and make sure the suspect one isn't hotter then the others.

Yeah my main concern is what behind the wheel got tweaked. It took a good chunk of the hit. Car still drives straight but will definitely test this out.

With 6k on them, just the one. Add the new spare in the tire rotation next time you do it.

If they’re paying for it one. If insurance is paying for it get a check and upgrade.
Definitely going to be insurance, they already filed a claim with their company.

More than likely they’ll have the adjuster cut you a check. Not sure how bad the damage is they might opt for the wheel to be repaired and a new tire.

Just the one, but I’d also replace the wheel too.

The wheel is gouged about 1cm deep in multiple spots, would be a wild time trying to repair it.

Yes, use the axle with the spare and put the new tire there.
This is a situation that is my reason to not rotate a spare. I always have a newer tire to match up if - for me it's been when - something happens to one tire that's not repairable. Sometimes, I buy one tire to match the spare on one axle. Worst case, I buy three tires using the spare and put one of the less than new tires on as a spare and end with 4 new tires and a trusty spare.
