Replacing rear diff plate with ARB m220 cover. Looking for torque specs

Hi all,

Looking to swap my rear diff plate this weekend on a 21 Black Diamond. Does anyone have the torque specs? I haven’t received the package yet so I’m not sure if it the information will be on the paperwork. I saw on another thread it was 20-25 ft lbs.

Differential Housing Cover

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Drain the differential fluid.
   Refer to: Differential Draining and Filling (205-02A Rear Drive Axle/Differential, General Procedures).

1. Detach the retainer and separate the rear brake hoses from the differential housing cover stud bolts.

1. 1. Remove the differential housing cover stud bolts.
      Torque:
      Stage 1: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
      Stage 2: 25°
2. 1. Remove the differential housing cover bolts.
      Torque:
      Stage 1: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
      Stage 2: 25°
3. 1. Remove the differential housing cover.

1. NOTICE: Take extra care not to damage the gasket.
   NOTE: Make sure to note the position of the gasket prior to removal.
   NOTE: Make sure the component is seated at correct position.
   NOTE: The gasket is to be reused unless damaged.
   Remove the gasket.

1. NOTE: Use care when cleaning the differential housing and its cover gasket mating surfaces.
   Clean the gasket mating surface of the axle and the differential housing cover.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Fill the differential with fluid.
   Refer to: Differential Draining and Filling (205-02A Rear Drive Axle/Differential, General Procedures).
