Report: Most dealers honoring MSRP

My Charleston SC dealer is honoring MSRP for order holders. This report by The Drive says that this is by far the Norm!

There is no doubt it is by far the norm for reservation holders…but many have deals locked in that are a bit better, or in some cases a whole lot better. Not many are getting screwed in reality….unless you decide to walk in and buy an abandoned one…but then that’s your choice to bend over.

After my dealership tried to add ADM when I initially ordered my Bronco, I'm concerned they will try to pull some shenanigans again when it arrives.

There is a dealership near me with two locations: Clay and Watertown NY. I test drove a 2 dr Big Bend w/Squatch this summer. They called me today about a mannequin they just got in which will be used as a service loaner in Clay. Told me if I placed an order it would be 6+ months and $5,000 over sticker.
so long sucker! I’ll be breaking mine in on the way home from Granger!

I know the area, used to trailer my boat from Plattsburgh to Alex Bay every summer. Dealer Lot vehicles, including mannequins, will often be marked up while the vehicle is in short supply. Do you know what that Watertown dealer is doing with customer special orders? That is our main subject here. I'm glad you found a good deal at Granger, however. I may get my MIC by Thanksgiving.

Yeah MSRP in many cases for Reservation holders. But you walk in off the street and you are going to pay ADM.

I get a kick how this thread has very few commenters on this forum. I guess it doesn't meet the narrative of those who want something to complain about.

I find it hard to believe. Everybody I know that had ordered the bronco and didn't get a locked in price is dealing with dealerships trying to get more than msrp at the moment.

I think everybody is just over it at this point. No need in complaining anymore or posting stuff, just waiting for the bronco to arrive....

How big is your sample size of “everybody you know”? It’s pretty clear on here that the majority of reservation holders are paying MSRP. There are some outliers who dealers are screwing, but those seem isolated.
