Of course, finding that video now has proven to be a bit of a challenge, I thought we had it posted here on B6G but have not found it, yet. Tried YT but could only find Tylers Bronc (broncbuster) with the heim style tie rods in single shear. Not Fabtech but same general design.

Now this shows him on M/T 40's but I've seen him on smaller tires bend it as well. Back then he was trying everything out there but always had issues. Once you make it double shear no more bending, but he chose to make his billet block for the OEM tie rods.
On a side note, which I'm sure you know by now seeing how you have made lift kits for Broncos, the gurus at Ford seemed to have made the UCA mounts single shear for some odd reason. I say that because my 08 F150's UCA is double shear. Seems we have gone backwards with the Bronco. Big tires/portals/heavy use will eventually lead to failure.

Thank you!Ride Shocks customer service has been great. One more update when there was a manufacturing delay would have been nice, but besides that, excellent.
They (at great cost to them) expedited shipping so the coilovers would arrive in time for my install appointment, THANK YOU!
They also sent out a crazy amount of swag. A hoodie, three shirts, a hat, and a drink coozie.
I will update with an actual review of the coilovers after I get some miles on them.
Looking forward to seeing them on your Bronco and getting some ride quality feedback!
What, no bag of bottle openers?? They're in Cali right?? lol I swear, everything I've gotten from Cali off road companies are like, bottle openers for everyone! lolRide Shocks customer service has been great. I ordered the rears and planning to order the fronts soon too. I think I’m definitely a heavy weight contender with my setup that includes rtt, awning, m2m cargo MOLLE panels and slide. Only thing is I am in the Bay Area..... back to shock talk.
For those following this thread, we are searching for a heavy weight contender for tuning purposes.
Thank you!Looking forward to seeing them on your Bronco and getting some ride quality feedback!
There was a small chance I was going to personally deliver these shocks to the shop, but that was no longer needed. I'll be out all next week on the Rubicon, so I wont be able to respond on here until I get back.![]()
Looking good!
Looks good. What Upper Control arm you go with?
did you make any adjustments to the preload collars?
No, Accutune said they set everything where it should be.did you make any adjustments to the preload collars?
Any idea how much or if they adjusted dampening/rebound to account for the portals? No, Accutune said they set everything where it should be.
I don't know tbh. I told them I was installing them with portals and asked them for what they thought would be best for them. Maybe @AccuTune Offroad can chime in?Any idea how much or if they adjusted dampening/rebound to account for the portals?
