37in BFGs with Radflo extended length coilovers, so I think they are 2in more than stock bilsteins.
Looks sooo good 😎🤘🏻❤

What do you think about doing it in an OBX, Non SAS? I do have a 2 inch zone lift and the SAS wheels and tires. The rock crawling scares the crap out of me, (worried about the rig) especially with a 4 door.
As @Tcarp1 said in his OP, It can be done. Driver experience is a huge part. Guys do it in stock/unlifted Jeeps on 33's on the regular.

That said, every bit of off-road capability you have makes it easier and more enjoyable. Lockers and 35's will make it much less likely that you will damage your Bronco or any rig for that matter. I ran the whole thing two weeks ago totally stock except for new tires at stock size. Unfortunately I took some body damage on an adjacent trail where alot of guys winch. The Bronco is really capable especially with sway bar disconnect and front/rear lockers and that capability can get you a little too confident. When the stock sasquatch suspension goes I will be upgrading to a 2" lift and 37's. First addition will be some beefed up sliders though.

Since you also live close , there is some fun stuff up Blackwood Canyon on the west shore. Take the OHV trail to the top and continue over the top. You can then tie into the Rubicon just east of Miller lake. Then continue on the Rubicon to the east end at Tahoe. All of that is fun and doable with no lockers or winch and will give you some fun and challenging obstacles here and there. Yank that top off also. Weather is perfect now. Mine hasn't been on since early June.

Great pictures! I haven't been on this trail in 5 years but I've done it many times both forward and reverse. My first trip was with 31" tires and open diffs. That was back in 1976 when I got my first FJ40. Good times on the Rubicon. Thanks for sharing the pics!

Thanks for the info and sorry about the damage! I will check out Blackwood Canyon. I did go up Hawkins Peak Road a few weeks ago. Just a dirt and gravel road with a few tight turns and a few steep climbs. It is at the T on 89 South at 88. Around 9200 feet. It was my first off roader. Great views up there. I ordered mud flaps and will put them on before I go up again. I got a nice nick in one of my body colored fender flares when I got back on the pavement.

Nice build! I'm from the bay area I'm from 4 hours driving from the trail :)
Currently I only have winch on a Badlands Sasquatch.

I need to install rear shocks skids and also waiting on:

https://www.pandamotorworks.com/pro...er-2-0-front-rear?_pos=1&_sid=9c4bbf1bc&_ss=r

https://rcimetalworks.com/product/skid-plate-package-21-bronco/

Tbh I'm still second guessing my self, if I should take the bronco or but cheaper jeep for the task so I will not break a 60k car...

I'm on fence on ordering the same rear bumper as you
https://dv8offroad.com/collections/bronco-rear-bumpers/products/bronco-rear-bumper-mto

A arm skid:

https://dv8offroad.com/collections/ford-bronco-rock-sliders/products/bronco-rock-sliders

37s and bronco buster or other sleeve & rear diff cover.

But dang I will spend do much much money on the car that I can just buy a jeep which is almost ready for that amount of money...

Nice rig also,,, yes it a money pit,,,,, LOL,,,
After this trip,,,, looking to uprate tire for 37' and new coil over maybe the Icon or King

The link you send for the rear bumper it little bit different model then I have,,,
Love the look,,,, Don't like the license plate location,,,, and they did not make n'off space on the cut out in the middle to fit the license plate if you have spare tire delete the license plate is 6' tall and the cut out is 5'1/4 tall,,, that really suck,,,, and if you have a hitch they have no space between the hitch and bumper ,,,, my hitch might have bent 1/8' inch more less after Moab ,,, it was hard to fit ,,,,

How many time you did the Rubicon,,,
How long it take to do the entire trail,,,,
If it more then one day,,, Do we need to camp on the trail or exit on the road and go back the next day?

You should be Ok to do it with the Bronco ,,,, you have some nice protection on you rig
Did you Jeep have Front and Rear locker?

That why I order a bunch of extra protection from NextVenture Motosports,,, To do the Rubicon and not worries

Fyi sorry for my bad written skill ,,, English is my second language

Trail can be done in a day depending on capability, but is much better spread over 2-3 days.

There is no exit, most camp on the trail if taking more than a day. But you can also do in and back instead of doing the trail end to end. That's what I did the first time - Loon to Wentworth to Spider and back out. But if you're coming all the way out here, I'd recommend going all the way through.
