What’s the concern? 15s used to be the popular rim size back in the day and ran larger tires than 33s

285/70/17 is probably the most popular tire size in AT tires, so I run 17s instead of 16s.

Look around to see if there are good 16” tires out there with good options and price.

Then wheel selection. You will be hard pressed to find a nice, well made 16” wheel for the Bronco with the proper fitment.

Check out Budget Bronco on YouTube. I believe that he is running 33's on stock steelies.

I think the only real challenge is finding tire options in the size you want. I put 265/75/16s on as my "street" tires because I was looking for something less expensive for on-road use, but you could go 285/75/16 and be close to 33". You just might find that some options in that size aren't any cheaper than the OEM 285s On 17s.
