I didn't know the Class A gassers could tow more than a Smartcar? What type of MPGs do you get? I was thinking that combo was limited to a larger diesel class A's (that are outside my current 'fun money' price range...).
My RV can get anywhere from 8-14 pending on road and driving conditions. Correct. Most non-Diesels will not work due to towing Cap.. My motor is a FORD E450. However, once all is said and done, it is pretty close (About 5,500 lbs) Bronco without weight is about 4,500 lbs.

Same motor as mine. What is the weight of your RV? Mine is 12,000 +

We took this road last trip in a rented Jeep!

My Jayco has a Triton V10v3 with a tune, puts out 424 HP, I go over the Sierras towing my loaded CR-V passing DP's all the time. Trip to Montana (by way of the kids home in Iowa) last month we got a 4k mile average of 9.2 MPG. My coach weighs in at 14,166 (full gas & propane) with a GCWR of 23K.

Interesting, thanks. Adding it to my weekend "research" list. My JLU is ~4300 dry but didn't know this was even possible to flat tow with one of those based on what I see on the road (which are normally towing nothing or some ant-sized vehicle). Fun stuff.

I honestly don't recall, but it was the smallest I could get with the heavy frame and V10. Bought it with towing in mind.

I wish they had put a #7500 hitch on mine and not the #5000, my alpha towbar is rated for #6500.

So do I, my coach goes in soon to have the hitch welded and frame stiffeners added, I am not taking any chances with my Bronco!
THAT is an excellent idea. I did not think of that. I will do the same. Thanks for sharing!!

I really hope the Bronco doesn't get the death wobble like the Cherokee did while towing. Caused by electric steering assist..??

Well, Mike L stated it will be designed to be towed so I would hope not, one reason I am not going with 35's and will stick with the 33 AT's, should track better., plus I am trying to keep the weight down.

We are looking at getting an RV, part of my selling point was that the First Edition will tow the best. ;)

we have been looking at Super C. Like the Renegade IKON or XL, so towing shouldnā€™t be an issue with a 30,000# rating.

I own a 2019 Thor Vegas 24.1 (Small Class A). The total length is just under 26 feet (Before pulling 2-Door Bronco). I have already gone all over the US without pulling a car. ITā€™s been ok since we bring our electric bikes with as already.

However, the last two trips, we realized that we really need to pull a ā€œJeep Style Vehicleā€ Flat Tow. This was in late June this year.
Then, my dreams were answered with the announcement of the NEW Bronco!!! Canā€™t wait to pull my Bronco behind my RV and go back to ZION, Colorado and so many other outdoor places were the Bronco would be great!!!

I wanted to start a Thread for RV people that are planning on taking their Bronco with them and sharing their plans with Bronco6G!!!
I am so excited about getting my Bronco that I renamed my RV (BSV- Bronco Support Vehicle) lol...

Here is the Bronco Trim I am getting and why: 33ā€ mainly because its easier to pull then 35ā€

1. Badlands Why? I look both the exterior and interior of the Badlands. I like Badlands over the BD because of the 33ā€ BFG AT tires and upgrading to High Pac.

2. 2-DOOR. Why? Looks great. Kids out of the house and pulling it behind my RV.

3. Antimatter Blue Why? Looks good with the standard gray top and like the way it changes in different lighting conditions.

4. 2.7 /Auto. Why? Why not have more power...

5. High Pac. Why? 360 camera / 12ā€ display

6. Tow. Why? Ready for anything...
We have flat towed our LJ for the last 14 years.
The plan is to replace it with the Bronco and carry on.
